University Medicine Greifswald meets Google Health - AI in Ophthalmology
The application and advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare has attracted huge interest in recent years.
Ophthalmology, which is highly dependent on imaging, is a forerunner in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. AI is expected to provide ophthalmologists with new automated tools for diagnosing and treating eye diseases. This digital transformation is being driven in part by the recent rise in attention of the medical potential of AI by major players in the digital world, such as Google.
At the Digital Health Hub in Greifswald we will meet with experts from Google and the University Medicine Greifswald and discuss the potential, and some of the challenges, that AI may be able to deliver.
